Emergency or Stand-Alone Messages

On occasion, an individual or standalone Broadcast Message announcement will be sent when it pertains to:

  • Messages from the University President, UConn Health Executive Vice President for Health Affairs or his designee, and the Deans of the UConn School of Medicine and UConn School of Dental Medicine
  • Police and Fire Emergencies
  • Public health or medical crisis information
  • Physical plant, utility services, and significant IT network disruptions
  • Weather-related closings and cancellations
